The Minutes of the 7th Board meeting were passed. 3 Points arising out of the previous Minutes – Nil --- 4 Consider Monthly Attendance Report - Rtn Bakshi informed that there is no change in attendance.He has been in contact with members. President Bharat requested him to contact the sponsors of members, especially newer membrs Jt Secretary 5 Consider Leave Notes and Resignations, from members, if any - Nil. Hon Secretary 6 Consider Membership Propsals - None INFO 7 AVENUE DIRECTOR'S REPORTS 7.1 "Club Service Avenue - Rtn Rohit informed the BOd that he had submitted the presentation for the DGs visit to President Bharat. He shared the Club programs for the month of March,, as follows - 7th March-2022 - International Women's Day being compiled by Rtn Jayashree & Rtn Vaijayanti 14-March-2022- Dr. Sushma Lahiri ,on Drop Photography . 21-March 2022- Jamshedi Navroze -Parsi New Year Rtn Narpati Luthra will speak on Zorastrism & its influence on other religions of the world . President Bharat suggested that we request PDG Sam Irani & PP Jamshed Khursigara to organise the Parsi Dinner,like every year.The following 3 Venues were shortlisted - Ladies Club, Boat Club & Poona Club Hall No1 & Tivoli Garden 28 March 2022- Milind Rajore on Graphology . " Dir Club Services 7.2 Youth Service Avenue - Since Director PP Sanjay Kher was absent, so discussions were skipped. 7.3 Community Service Avenue - Col Kohli gave an update about the following Community Service projects as follows- Blood Donation Drive on 9th February 2022 at Gurudwara Camp, where 50 units were collected. Similarly a medical camp & eye camp too were conducted in Krishna nagar area. Balance payment to Caregavers trainning- Col Kohli informed that Rs. 80,000/- had been paid to the organisation and only abalance of Rs. 20,000/- was due to be paid. After some discussions, it was concluded that we would check our records to confirm that Rs. 80,000 was paid, & the balance amount to complete the Rs 1 lac commitment by our club, would be paid to them. Happy Village - Ghera Panawadi- Arrangement of Drinking water was the top priority and already a plan was under implementation, in consultation with Rtn Ravi Budhraja. Similarly, he informed that the village ladies were shown the baskets carried by Presdient Bharat, & they were quite intrested in learning. There was a plan to get a trainer to the village for 2 days, to train these women Comm Service Director 7.4 Vocational Avenue - Rtn Tinkie informed the BoD, bout the Vocational Excellence Award, which was be conferred to Dr. Aparna Deshmukh, upon visiting Abhalmaya, the oldage home set up and looked after by Dr Deshmukh. She then informed about the basket weaving training to the Women of Gherapanawadi village. Though she wouldbe travelling, she would organisethe trainng on 1st or 2nd March 2022, date selected bythe women to get trained. She would also be finding the cost of the raw material and the Trainers charges. Subsequently,the source of acquiring the raw materials at best rates Voctional Service Dir 7.5 International Service Avenue - PP Kailash informed the BOD that he had handed over few cheques amounting to USD 3000/- toward APF to the Foundation Director PP Pankaj Patel. So far ourClub has given USD 6000/- to the APF & USD 1,100/-to the Polio Fund. Endowment Fund - He also informed the PP Gurdeep Arora had promise USD 25,000/- to the Endowment Fund, within this Rotary Year. So this year, our total contribution to Rotary Foundation would be about USD 31-32 thousand dollars. Inauguration of GG Project - He also informed that a visit to inaugurate GG project Shirpunje and Terangun was scheduled on 1st or 2nd March, and the closing ceremony of Maveshi project , would beclubbedinthesame trip. Audit of Sawarkute GG Project - PP Kailash also informed that TRF Auditor was expected around mid march to visit us to audit Savarkute project . Global Grant Project of recharging of Borewell in rural schools- PP Kailash informed that though the initial plan was to collect USDD 75 thousandfor this project. However only USD 50,000/-. looks possible. He would soon be uploaddiing the project onthe website. TRF Scholorship- PP Kailash informed tah out of the two students, shortlisted, one student Shilpa Shinde hadbeen rejected and one student Vilas Gite had been selected. Entire BoD congratulated PP Kailash for the excellent work done by him. Intl Service Dir 8 Heritage Book Update - President Bharat informed the BoD, that Tuesday onwards , he will be writing to 100 selected clubs. Ask for funds to be transferred to our FCRA account and we will be offering them a discount of 50%. Last date to revert was 15th of March. PP Kailash has offered to loan the initial seedmoney, where the loan to the publisher , who will return the loan to PP Kailash, once the amounts start coming in. Details to be worked out by President Bharat & PP Kailash, depending on the response received from the partner clubs. 9 Other Issues - 9.1 Scooter donation by PP Hasmukh Patel , to Dr Aparna Deshmukh of Abhaalmaya - The Board was of the opinion that the two wheeler should be handed over by PP Hasmukh Patel, only after the transfer procedure of all documents is done in Dr. Aparna Deshmukh's name Hon Secretary 9.2 Waterpumps by Tarun Albuquerque - President Bharat informed the BoD, that Rtn Tarun had donated 3 Water pumps to our club and requested members to identify where we could put them up. PP Kailash suggested that one 5 HP pump could be given to Ramwadi, after talking to Father Robert. President /Dir Comm Service 9.3 Rotary Wheels for GG Watershed Projects - The BoD decided that the existing 3 large and 1 small wheels be sent toour existing Ggprojects, requesting them to mount them. PP Kailash pointed out that we also need to put up granite Plaque, engraved with Rotary wheel and Global Grant number at each project. Dir Club Services/Dir Intl Services 9.4 Planning of DG's Official VISIT - President Bharat informed the Agenda of the DG's visit on 14th Feb 2022,which was organised at Boat Club. The Apex meeting will start at 5.30pm , starting with the Strategic committee meeeting , followed by presentation by Avenue Directors. Finally meeting with the Interactors & Rotaractors. SpecialBullein willbe released at the hands of DG Pankaj, where 8-10 Bulletins would be hard copies, and rest will be e-versions, asusual. Only 8-10 guests were invited, most being from District 3131, exceept 2, who were President Bharaat's personal guest,and the Rotaract President. Hon Secretary President All Board Members 9.5 Report on Renovation of Rotary Office - PP Kailash Mongagave adetailed report of the progres of renovation work of Rotary office. Balcony wall knowcked offfand Balcony taken in, by extending the grill. Aluminium Windows will be installed soon. Tiles have been replaced, and a pantry couner has been fitted in the Record room, to be installed with water filter, coffee machine etc, to cater for Tea/ Coffee & refreshments. The room sizes are now 10 ft x 16 ft. Officefurniture has beenordered. The toral cost will be well within 3lacs. He suggested that therefrigerator be replaced too. Rtn Maithili requested assistance in sorting our old documents Rtn PP Kailash Rtn Maithili 9.6 Acredition to Ruby Hall's Training at Trauma Centre by Pune University - PP Kailash reminded the BoD that a matching grant project of installing Trauma Centre inRuby Haspital had been done by our club 15 years back and informed the BoD that Dr. Vora wants to get acredition by Pune University. Ruby Hall had trained more than 16000 nurses in last 15 years. PP Mansoor Dalal suggested that a picture of PP Duck Jinks also should be posted in Ruby, as he is the person who had initiated the project , and guided it throughout till completion. Rtn PP Kailash 9.7 Rtn NPS Bakshi suggested that we should put up PP PrakashTelang's photo at various Global Grant sites. Rtn NPS Bakshi 10 Accounts for January 2022 - Col Viswanathan informed hat all suspense enteries in the income side have been removed, however a couple of them still remain in the expense side. The Board also discusse the low collection of Club dues by members ,and it was proposed that we should consider haveinga payment gateway, for smooth transfer of club dues by the members Trasurer 11 The Governers Monthly letter was received & Noted. By the BoD 12 There being no other points , The President thanked all for attending, and closed the meeting at 8.PM. Next BOD is scheduled on Friday, 11th March 2022 at 6.30 pm.
