| Minutes of Meeting | Photographer Hemant Medhi gave a very informative and interesting talk covering a few important aspects of photography. Broadly categorising them in three he explained the first aspect being Light without which one cannot give justice to the picture. Sources may vary as it could be sunlight, moonlight, a tube light or even spotlights in a studio. Second aspect to take into consideration were the Composition with its varied angles where he showed us some picturesque shots taken at Hampi and stepwells at Badami. He explained the importance of design strategy and finding beauty in the abstract. And last but not the least aspect, Creativity, where he had experimented with a few products and shared the stunning results. An important tip he shared was to ‘Think in a frame and then you can plan how to capture the image.’ |
