| Minutes of Meeting | On Monday members put on their thinking caps as they were pulled into a vortex of questions and answers all pertaining to Rotary, in a quiz aptly named ‘Jo Jeeta Who Sikander’ and well coordinated by DGE Shital Shah and PP Pradeep (Nana) Patil. AG Rajesh Jain too was present. The Club members were pitted against each other in 4 groups A, B, C and D but only after reviewing some literature with a brief introduction and highlights of Rotary which had been handed over to each group. The quiz aiming to enhance our Rotary knowledge was played in a competitive but sporting spirit. Multiple choice questions, True/ False statements and teams asking each other; all rounds earned points. On the spot prizes like badges and stationery, were handed out for correct answers in the midst of the rounds, though with a lot of boisterous laughter and good natured ribbing. But in the end it was the women along with PP Sanjay Kher of Team A, who outshone the others and earned themselves a prize as the winning team, with the runners up being Team B. A vibrant event indeed, set off with the sole purpose of learning something more about Rotary but in a fun and enjoyable way. While Rtn. Vaijayantii introduced our Quiz Master to the Club, Rtn. Jamshed Khursigara ended the meeting with a Vote of Thanks. |
