| Minutes of Meeting | The weekly meeting on 30/12/2024 combined business with pleasure. It was the last meeting of the year 2024 and also the last meeting of the first half of Rotary year 2024-25. It was the day of the club’s annual general meeting convened for taking stock of the club’s performance during the just finished half year and for discussing plans for the remaining half year. The meeting was followed by a super sumptuous dinner hosted by Rtn Kailash Monga for celebrating his landmark birthday The meeting began with President Amar Krishna’s detailed account of the highs and lows of the first half of the year and plans for the second half. President Amar was followed by President Elect Rohit Mittra. He presented a list of names of members of the newly elected next Board Of Directors, along with the allocation of portfolios and projects planned forThe weekly meeting on 30/12/2024 combined business with pleasure. Chairpersons of the various Avenues presented their respective reports of projects completed as well as projects in the pipeline. Food and beverages for the entire evening were sponsored by ‘birthday boy’ Rtn. Kailash Monga to commemorate his completion of seven and a half decades of philanthropy, photography, contract bridge to name but a few of his multifarious interests and activities. Thus ended an evening that made all those present proud to be members of Rotary Club Of Poona, the oldest Club in the city and a leading club for our discipline, dedication, adherence to rules, observance of protocol, camaraderie and last but not the least the gusto with which we celebrate all important occasions. |
