ROTARY ASHA KIRAN PROJECT We are the Rotary India Literacy Mission All Rotarians of India united by our Goal Our Goal is Total Literacy and Quality Educaon in India Over 6 million children are enveloped in the darkness of illiteracy Asha Kiran is a ray of hope that we provide for out of school children to go back to school This program aims to send 100,000 out of school children back to school in one year What does Rotary Asha Kiran project do Provide necessary supplemental education through temporary set up classrooms and trained teachers with assistance of our NGO Partners to shore up their learning abilies Books stationery are also provided along with food and basic health facilities in some places Counsel the parents whose children do not go to school to send them to non-formal schools One can sponsor a child to go to school by paying Rs 2100 only
