Inbound student : Samille Santos Oliviera from Brazil Host family : IPP Dipak and Rtn Aarti Thacker First virtual welcome extended to Samille on Zoom on Sunday, 17th October 2021 : Chair Niamat Virji with opening remarks handed over to Director Youth Service Rtn Sanjay Kher who welcomed Samille to Pune (India) in Portuguese thus - “Olai Samille, Como voce esta? “welcome Samille, How are you ? and ended with – Mointo ben susejida (wish you best of luck) Obrigada (thank you)”! Handed over to President Bharat who spoke for 2-3 minutes and requested Rtn Col Collin Louzado to welcome Samille in the Portuguese language, which he did remarkably well. Hosts Dipak and Aarti then spoke with Samille and informed her that lots of activities were planned for her. Our outbound student Hiya Thacker was also present.
