The project implementation on an area of 32.05 ha in the past one year has resulted in 19 ha. additional area being brought under cultivation, change in the cropping pattern and enhanced water availability in the existing 3 wells. The programme will be implemented by Nandanvan Trust Pune and monitored by us. The project aims to treat about 180 hectare of hilly land and accrue benefits to 50 poor and marginal farmers and 300 persons of the village Masobawadi. The village is situated at an elevation of 900 mtrs above MSL.Soil and water conservation is the main aim of the project treating the sloppy areas of land to check the run off of water and the soil therewith.
